Premiere screenings of School of Documentary Film

Join us at premiere screenings of documentary films created at the School of Documentary Film 2018 / 2019 on Sunday, May 5, at kino Tuškanac (Zagreb) at 7 pm. Eight School of Documentary Film took place from September 25, 2018 to February 28, 2019 in Zagreb. This year's edition of the School attended ten participants who had mastered all the knowledge and skills required to complete their own documentary films, mentored by Ana Hušman, Hrvoslava Brkušić, Igor Bezinović, Nebojša Slijepčević, Dinka Radonić and Katerina Duda.

Monika Willi Masterclass in Dokukino - Challenges of Editing

Fantastic Austrian editor Monika Willi, most known for her work with Michael Glawogger and Michael Haneke will hold Masterclass 'Challenges of Editing', on Saturday, 27.4. in Dokukino KIC. Monika will talk about her work with different directors and producers, their similarities and differences, as well as her experience as co-director and editor of the documentary 'Untitled', that she finished after the unfortunate death of Michael Glawogger in April 2014. After masterclass, we will screen 'Untitled', and Glawogger's 'Whore's Glory' also edited by Willi. On Sunday, we are organising special talk that will moderate Serbian director Boris Mitić, who also co-operated in the production of 'Untitled'.

School of Documentary Film at 65th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen

The 65th edition of International Short Film Festival Oberhausen (1 - 5 May), one of the oldest and most important festivals dedicated to short film, selected our film 'September 3, 2015' by Sara Jurinčić to this year's International Competition. Sara's short film was produced on last year's edition of Restart's School of Documentary Film.

Fiume o morte! goes to EKRAN+

The second leg of the EKRAN+ workshop started in Warsaw, Poland. EKRAN+ is a European program for development of professional films, focusing on creative preproduction and intended for the main creative personnel in the crew. One of the selected projects is the film 'Fiume o morte!' by Igor Bezinović, who's writing and directing it.
