Masterclass by Dutch director John Appel at Dokukino

On Saturday 19th January 2013 at 4 PM Dokukino KIC will host the Dutch director John Appel who will hold a masterclass on the subject ''How to choose the best story and characters for a documentary film''.
One of the most esteemed contemporary Dutch directors will talk about dramaturgy of documentary films, creating narrative lines and choosing the best protagonist for the film. Appel will show excerpts from his documentaries, as well as those from his colleagues' films, and everybody who is interested will have the chance to ask questions.
