On Friday, December 11, Restart and Subversive Film Festival are organizing an online masterclass of one of the most interesting contemporary directors - Kazakh film giant of Russian origin Sergey Dvortsevoy, whose feature and documentary masterpieces are characterized by social criticism, visual lyricism and naturalistic everyday life of marginalized communities and individuals. Croatian director Nebojša Slijepčević will discuss with Dvortsevoy the directing procedures he uses, film ethics and the relationship between the fiction and documentary form.
