Based on the idea that the film medium is available to everyone today and that everyone can express themselves in the language of film, the School of Documentary Film has been held year after year since 2013 and helps its participants acquire the basic and advanced skills necessary to shoot their own documentary with the intention of applying an innovative and original approach to film education in practice.
In contrast to the traditional way of teaching film, which breaks down the process into separate phases and procedures, in the Restart School, filmmaking is approached as a complete activity.
The participants go through a unique program and acquire knowledge and skills in the basics of recording and the use of related equipment, image and sound editing, production, dramaturgy and directing.
