About film
Film Presidential Train was shot in a train between Zagreb and Ploče. Although it connects two cities in Croatia, this train route goes through almost whole Bosnia and Herzegovina. The train passes through Banja Luka, Sarajevo and Mostar, re-connecting the nations which were separated by the war. Probably like nowhere else in Bosnia, Bosnians, Croatians and Serbs share the same space, regardless of religion and ethnicity. There are no wagons and coupes reserved for nations, there is only one train and its passengers. Author’s co-travellers in the train belong to different nations and religions, and the author asks everybody the same question – ”What would you do if you were president of the state”.
