Our feature documentary “Snajka: Diary of Expectations” by Tea Vidović Dalipi is continuing its festival tour in November. At the 19th edition of the Freezone Film Festival happening in parallel in the cities of Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, and Kragujevac, from October 31st until November 5th, “Snajka” will be screened in the debutant competition ‘First Two Steps’, on November 4 in Belgrade and the day after in Novi Sad. The Belgrade screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director Vidović Dalipi and producer, Oliver Sertić. Serbian premieres will also have our two co-productions, “Between Revolutions” by Vlad Petri in the regional competition (‘Balkan Horizons’) and “The Investigator” by Viktor Portel in the program ‘Border Free Zone’. “Snajka” is honored to solemnly open the 13th PorečDox happening in the Istrian city of Poreč from November 4th to 11th. “Between Revolutions” and “Non-Aligned: Scenes from the Labudović Reels” by Mila Turajlić also found their place in the official selection of the festival. All three films will compete for the audience award. From November 22nd until 29th, the Hungarian city of Budapest will host the 20th edition of the Verzio Film Festival, the festival dedicated to films with human rights topics. Three films will have their Hungarian premieres. Aside from the screening of “Snajka” (accompanied by the director), programmed in the debutant competition (‘Doc Future Student and Debut Competition’), our co-production “Fairy Garden” by Hungarian director Gergő Somogyvári entered a competition of Hungarian documentaries and Mila Turajlić’s “Ciné-Guerrilas: Scenes from the Labudović Reels” in the program ‘Viewfinder’.
