Restart’s film “Valerija” directed by Sara Jurinčić, won the Heart of Sarajevo award for the best short documentary at the just finished 29th Sarajevo Film Festival, which was held from 11 th to 18 th August 2023. The awards in the documentary film category were decided by a
jury consisting of Iva Dimitrova, program manager at Chicken and Egg Pictures (USA), artistic director of the CPH:DOX Documentary Film Festival Niklas Engstrom (Denmark) and director and producer Péter Kerekes (Slovakia). Also in the documentary film category, Restart’s minority co-production, the feature-length documentary film “Fairy Garden” directed by Gergő Somogyvári and co-produced by Hungary, Romania and Croatia, was awarded a special jury award.
