Restart Label is the only specialized distributor of documentary films in Croatia. Publishing documentary films on Croatian market is a project which enables a continuous purchase, translation and placement of quality recent documentary films, through theatrical, TV and VOD distribution. To date, we have distributed more than 120 documentaries in the territory of the former Yugoslavia and cooperate with more than 50 regional film festivals. We have launched a regional distribution network for the territory of ex-Yugoslavia BALKAN DOCUMENTARY DISTRIBUTION NETWORK – BDDN, which is comprised of Five Stars Films / Delta Video (Serbia), Demiurg (Slovenia), Dokufest (Kosovo), Makedox – Documentary film festival (Macedonia) and Underhillfest (Montenegro).

Restart is also the coordinator of the KineDok project in Croatia. KineDok is a joint project of six European film organizations focused on alternative distribution of creative documentaries. It is held in often atypical locations suitable for film screenings – from cafes, clubs and culture centers to parks and galleries or as part of other cultural and film events. Since 2015, KineDok has distributed 14 feature-length documentaries a year, among them festival hits, as well as local hits from Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Georgia and Croatia. KineDok films are shown in over 20 locations throughout Croatia. The project is supported by Creative Europe, MEDIA, Kultura Nova Foundation and the Croatian Audiovisual Center.

At the start of 2018, we launched our own VOD platform volimdokumentarce.net, where more than 190 local and international documentaries are currently available, as well as recordings of Masterclass and Meet the Author. programs.
