Oliver Sertić

Oliver Sertić  is a documentary producer and festival programmer. Since now he produced around 30 feature and short documentaries and experimental films. For 18 years worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief in different media and organizer of different cultural events. The founder of Restart (2007) where he established Restart Laboratory, Dokukino and Restart Label, at the moment working as the editor-in-chief of the Label and one of tutors at School of Documentary Film. Has cooperated with numerous film festivals as a PR, programmer, producer and advisor (Zagreb FF, ZagrebDox, DokuFest, Vukovar FF, Makedox, DORF, RAF, Supetar Super FF, Moldox…). From 2007 works as a selector and since 2012 he serves as the director of Liburnia Film Festival, Croatian documentary film festival in Opatija. 

 

Vanja Jambrović

Vanja Jambrovic graduated in philosophy and comparative literature at the Faculty for social sciences of the University of Zagreb in 2005 and in 2011 she graduated in film and theatre production at the Academy of Dramatic Art, also in Zagreb. Vanja started working in the film industry in 2002 as a production assistant and a festival coordinator. Since 2009 she’s been making films with Restart as a delegate producer. Vanja’s track record includes more than 20 films of all shapes and sizes. With her projects Vanja was a part of several professional workshops such as: EAVE (2015), Producers on the move (Cannes 2014), Robert Bosch Coproduction Prize Germany Eastern Europe (Berlin, 2013), Berlinale Talent Campus (Berlin, 2013), Emerging Producers 2012 (Jihlava), Sarajevo Talent Campus (Sarajevo, 2012), EURODOC (France 2010) and many more. Vanja is also a Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee, for the feature documentary project “Museum of the Revolution” directed by Srđan Keča (2020). Her films have circled the globe, having been screened in competition at IDFA, Hot Docs, Toronto IFF, Visions du Reel, Fid Marseille, Karlovy Vary IFF, Sarajevo FF and hundreds more.




Anita Bastašić

Anita Bastašić was born in 1989 in Zagreb, where she enrolled production studies at Academy of Dramatic Art. After completing undergraduate studies she began working in the field of  of theatre and performing arts as external associate of the Theater Epicenter and producer at festivals and various projects. In 2013 she started collaborating with Restart as external associate and since 2014 she started working as producer of educational programs and projects. She participates in the development and implementation of permanent programs and a large number of collaborative eu projects with Ana Hušman.




Ana Hušman

Ana Hušman, born in Zagreb in 1977. Studied multimedia and art education department graduating in 2002 from the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb, Croatia. Attended number of Croatian and International festivals and shows. At the moment working on Academy of fine arts department of animated film and new media. For her last works she received many international awards. Her works has been shown at festivals and exhibitions including; Medienturm Gallery, Graz; On the Eastern Front, Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Arts, Budapest; “lucy” bodig & ART ON STAGE, URA, Istanbul, Stuttgarter Filmwinter; International Film Festival Rotterdam, 25 fps, Zagreb; DOK, Leipzig, Deutschland.




Petra Babić

Petra Babic was born on October 3, 1991 in Zagreb. In 2018 she graduated in philosophy and pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy in Osijek. Since 2012 she has been working for various film festivals (Motovun film festival, Zagreb film festival, Kino Otok, Liburnia Film Festival, Dokuma film festival...), mostly in program coordination and as a venue manager. In May 2017, she started working at Restart where she is now a coordinator of the distribution sector - Restart Label.






Dina Pokrajac

Dina Pokrajac was born in 1986 in Zagreb. She majored in Journalism and Political Science at the Faculty of Political Science and is a PHD candidate at the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb. Since 2019 she is the programme coordinator and manager of Dokukino KIC. She is the film programme director of Subversive Festival and programme coordinator of Film Mutations: Festival of Invisible Cinema. She has worked on a number of interdisciplinary projects combining film and critical theory. From 2017 to 2019 she worked as the Head of Public Relations for Kino Europa; prior to that she worked for Galerija Greta and Kulturno informativni centar as a project manager. She has regularly contributed essays, film reviews, reports and interviews in magazines (Hrvatski filmski ljetopis, Filmonaut, Zarez), radio-programmes (Filmoskop) and online publications (Kulturpunkt.hr, Dokumentarni.net, Vox Feminae, Lupiga). Winner of the Vladimir Vuković Award for Best New Film Critic in 2017. 




Zrinka Košar

Zrinka Košar was born and lives in Zagreb. She is an economist in accounting and finance and she also has a master's degree in agroecology. Since 2017, she has worked at Restart as Office and Finance Manager, and from 2018 to January 2020, she also served as Festival Coordinator.







 

Nika Bobić

Nika Bobić was born in Zagreb where she majored in Political Science at the Faculty of Political Science. During her studies, she has worked on a number of film and music festivals and events, including the Zagreb Film Festival, KinoKino, Animafest, Dimensions (....). She has worked at Restart as an assistant in the distribution department and Dokukino since the beginning of 2018, and today she is the head of digital platforms and an assistant in the distribution program.  



Vanda Kreutz

Born in 1990 in Zagreb, Croatia. After completing the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, she enrolled undergraduate studies of Animation and New media and graduate study of Animation and New media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She graduated it in 2018. and became a master of Arts (MA) in Animation and New media. In the art practice she explores the field of experimental film, animation, photography and audio-visual installation. Since 2014 she has participated in the education of children and youth through film workshops.



Tibor Keser

Tibor Keser is a producer living and working in Zagreb, Croatia. His areas of interest include film (both fiction and documentary), video and theatre. He's working for Restart as a producer and a production manager. After graduating in economics and business at the University of Zagreb, he enrolled into the Academy of dramatic art in Zagreb. Tibor graduated film and theatre production and is currently a master's degree student at the same school. He was a dancer and a street artist. He actively pursues workshops and festivals, including the 7. Sarajevo Talent Campus in 2013. Tibor is also a board member and a project manager at CIPA - Croatian Independent Professionals Association and is a supporter of all sorts of initiatives ranging from ecology to the arts.




Nebojša Slijepčević

Nebojša Slijepčević was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia. In 2005 he graduated Film Directing from the Academy of Drama and Art, also in Zagreb. He directed numerous TV documentaries and series (Direkt, City Folk...), but also creative and author driven documentaries (Real Man’s Film, In 4 Years, Of Cows and People) for which he received awards from  various festivals. Nebojša is also the author of a short animated film Dog / Rabbit, short fiction Boxed and short fiction Slap in the Face, which is part of the fiction omnibus Zagreb Stories. In 2013. he finished his first feature documentary, international co-production Gangster of Love, coproduced by Restart (Croatia), ZDF/ARTE, Kloos & Co. (Germany) and Subcultura Films (Romania). In 2018 he finished his second feature length documentary film "Srbenka". "Srbenka" won 24 festival awards and it has been preselected for EFA Awards in the best documentary category in 2018 and won Doc Allianze Award for the best documentary in 2018. Nebojsa is one of the main tutors at regular documentary workshops at organization RESTART. He is living and working in Zagreb, Croatia.




Igor Bezinović

Igor Bezinović was born in Rijeka in 1983. He graduated in philosophy and sociology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and in Film and TV directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He directed short documentaries "Above Average", "Non-Recyclable", "An Encounter", "In fond memory of TDZ", a short fiction film "Naked Hours", feature length documentary "The Blockade" and feature length fiction film "A Brief Excursion". In Restart Igor works as mentor in School of documentary films, mentor and lecturer in different educational programs.

The school of documentary film

Škola dokumentarnog filma
The school of documentary film is taking place in Zagreb once a year and it is conceived as an intensive programme held by international tutors as well as those from Restart. They will be teaching the participants about basic and advanced skills needed to make their own documentary film.
