The jury, <strong>Vanja Kova\u010devi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Kumjana Novakova<\/strong>, <strong>Dinka Radoni\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Iva Ivan<\/strong> and <strong>Davor Sanvicenti<\/strong>, decided that <em>The Best Film<\/em> of this year&#8217;s festival is <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/Knin-Zadar\">&#8220;Knin-Zadar&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Melita Vrsaljko<\/strong>, produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/dinaridi.com\/\">Dinaridi Film<\/a>. The same film received <em>the &#8220;Dragan Rube\u0161a&#8221; Critic&#8217;s Award<\/em>, decided by film critic and director <strong>Nikola Stra\u0161ek<\/strong>. <em>The Best Regional Film<\/em> is <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/Kantrida\">&#8220;Kantrida&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Luka Karlo Kauzlari\u0107 <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/filmaktiv.org\/\">Filmaktiv<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/filmaktiv.org\/projekti\/\">Nova \u0161kola dokumentarnog filma<\/a>), <em>Special Mention<\/em> of the jury went to <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/Wild-Flowers\">&#8220;Wild Flowers&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Karla Crn\u010devi\u0107<\/strong> (Elias Querejeta Zine Eskola \/ self-produced) and the audience chose <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/El-Shatt-A-Blueprint-for-Utopia\">&#8220;El Shatt &#8211; A Blueprint for Utopia&#8221; <\/a>by <strong>Ivan Ramljak<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kompot.hr\/\">KOMPOT<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horopter.rs\/\">Horopter<\/a>) who gave it very high 4,54 \/ 5. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>The Best Director<\/em> <\/span>is <strong>Ana Bilankov<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/Chasing-the-Sun-El-Shatt\">&#8220;Chasing the Sun: El Shatt&#8221;<\/a>), and <em>the Best Sound Designer<\/em> is <strong>Yiannis Loukos <\/strong>for the same film. <em>The Best Editor<\/em> of the 21st LFF is <strong>Jelena Maksimovi\u0107<\/strong> for her work on <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/El-Shatt-A-Blueprint-for-Utopia\">&#8220;El Shatt &#8211; A Blueprint for Utopia&#8221;<\/a> and cinematographer <strong>Boris Poljak<\/strong>, who filmed both films about El Shatt camp. Besides cash awards given by the festival to the <em>Best Film<\/em> and the <em>Audience Award<\/em>, new monetary support is given to the <em>Best Regional Film<\/em> by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajbdoc.ba\/\">AJB DOC Film Festival<\/a>, an equipment voucher of 700 euros to the best cinematographer and the best sound designer is given by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avc-group.com\/hr\/hr\/\">AVC Zagreb<\/a>, and an LCD projector to the best editor is sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acer.com\/hr-hr\/\">ACER Croatia<\/a>. Other awards consist of direct entrance to the program for the development of documentary film with the next project, <a href=\"https:\/\/dokweb.net\/activities\/ex-oriente-film\/2023\/about\">Ex Oriente Film<\/a> (for the best director) and <a href=\"http:\/\/bdcwebsite.com\/\">BDC Discoveries<\/a> (for the best regional film). The Liburnia Film Festival screened 33 films, of which five were produced by Restart and screened out of the competition. <a href=\"https:\/\/restarted.hr\/en\/film\/feature-films\/snajka_diary-of-expectations\/\">&#8220;Snajka: Diary of Expectations&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Tea Vidovi\u0107 Dalipi<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/restarted.hr\/en\/film\/short-films\/valeria\/\">&#8220;Valerija&#8221; <\/a>by <strong>Sara Jurin\u010di\u0107 <\/strong>had their Croatian premieres. The festival also screened our co-production <a href=\"https:\/\/restarted.hr\/en\/film\/feature-films\/between-revolutions\/\">&#8220;Between Revolutions&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Vlad Petri<\/strong>, concluded by two films made at the <a href=\"http:\/\/skola.restarted.hr\">Restart&#8217;s School of Documentary Film<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/Radicle\">&#8220;Radicle&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Dora Fodor<\/strong> and <a href=\"http:\/\/liburniafilmfestival.com\/en\/Movies\/Searching-One-night-in-Zagreb\">&#8220;Searching (One Night in Zagreb&#8221;<\/a> by <strong>Matea Joci\u0107<\/strong>.
