Projects is carried out <strong>in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cms.hr\/en\">Centre for Peace Studies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/hrabritelefon.hr\">Brave Phone NGO<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/zelena-akcija.hr\/en\">Green Action<\/a><\/strong>. The implementation of the project includes eight secondary schools from different parts of the Croatia: School for Art, Design, Graphics and Clothes Zabok, High school Petrinja, Electrotechnic school Vara\u017edin, Islamic Secondary School &quot;Dr. Ahmed Smajlovi\u0107&quot;, High school &quot;Vladimir Nazor&quot; Zadar, High school &quot;Mate Bla\u017eine&quot; Labin, XIII, Gymnasium and X. Gymnasium &#39;&#39;Ivan Supek&#39;&#39;.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"> <span id=\"docs-internal-guid-28b0e704-6a41-b1bc-f48c-0e8d7329ebfe\">In the involved secondary schools, we have carried out organized <strong>screenings of documentary films <\/strong>that address various current social topics and issues known to high school students. After projection of professional staff from partner organizations conducted lectures and meaningful discussions on selected topics. Thematic units include:&nbsp;<strong>theme&nbsp;of peer violence in cooperation with Brave Phone NGO, eating disorders and body image, minorities, migration&nbsp;and&nbsp;discrimination in cooperation with the Center for Peace Studies and last is&nbsp;theme&nbsp;of environmental protection and sustainable development in cooperation with Green Action<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> The goal is through four thematic areas train students to think, critically evaluate and analyze the film medium. Empower them and help them in strengthening their confidence through discussions on specific topics, analysis&nbsp;and&nbsp;interpretation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"> <span id=\"docs-internal-guid-28b0e704-6a41-b1bc-f48c-0e8d7329ebfe\">As part of the projection, intensive interdisciplinary <strong>workshops<\/strong> are held in the secondary schools in collaboration with the Restart educational team and each of the partners involved, related to the theme that was identified as the biggest problem in each school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"> <span id=\"docs-internal-guid-28b0e704-6a41-b1bc-f48c-0e8d7329ebfe\">Final&nbsp;activity consists of <strong>dislocated training in mobile journalism held by Restarts educational team and training Active Youth that is held by Center for Peace Studies<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"> <span>The project is funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.havc.hr\/eng\/\">Croatian Audiovisual Centre<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mzo.hr\/en\">Ministry of science and education<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<div> &nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The implementation of Restart&#39;s project Think with film is in its second year.
