The participants went through the School&#8217;s intensive program from October 2025 to April 2026. After learning the skills of making a creative documentary film, they had the opportunity to apply what they had learned by making their own original film under the mentorship of <strong>Hrvoslava Brku\u0161i\u0107<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Katerina Duda<\/strong>, <strong>\u0110uro Gavran<\/strong>, <strong>Eva Kraljevi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Bojan Mr\u0111enovi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Filip Peruzovi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Dinka Radoni\u0107<\/strong> and <strong>Oliver Serti\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to mentors and lecturers, participants learned about film from domestic and foreign documentarians and other film professionals: directors <strong>Johan Grimonprez<\/strong>, <strong>Damian Nenadi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Neboj\u0161a Slijep\u010devi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Sun\u010dica Ana Veldi\u0107<\/strong> and <strong>Tea Vidovi\u0107 Dalipi<\/strong>, editor <strong>Jelena Maksimovi\u0107<\/strong>, sound designer <strong>Luka Gamulin <\/strong>and<strong> Vladimir Raki\u0107<\/strong>, sound recordist <strong>Matija Santro<\/strong>, producer <strong>Vanja Jambrovi\u0107<\/strong>, and technical manager <strong>Franko Dujmi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The participants of the 15th edition of the School were: <strong>Antea Divi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Ivan Dovrani\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Leon Keglevi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Mia Juki\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Iva Kunac<\/strong>, <strong>Mariana Lopez Bodart<\/strong>, <strong>Dorian Milovi\u0107<\/strong>, <strong>Nina Rac<\/strong>, <strong>Dina Ugle\u0161i\u0107<\/strong> and <strong>Teodora Vulovi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary film school is based on the idea that the film medium is available to everyone today and that everyone can express themselves in the language of film, and year after year it teaches its students the basic and advanced skills needed to shoot their own documentary film, and has proven to be an important training ground new film authors.<\/p>\n<p>The program is financed by the funds of the<a href=\"https:\/\/havc.hr\/\"> Croatian Audiovisual Center<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zagreb.hr\/\">City of Zagreb &#8211; City Office for Education, Culture and Sports<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dhfr.hr\/?lang=en\">Society of Croatian Film Authors and Producers<\/a>, \u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/kulturanova.hr\/\">Kultura Nova Foundation<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/zaklada.civilnodrustvo.hr\/\">National Foundation for Civil Society Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Facebook event: https:\/\/fb.me\/e\/keQSqx8X6.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the final screening on Friday, April 17th\u00a0starting at 7 p.m. in Dokukino KIC, we will premiere the films of the participants of the 15th Documentary Film School.
