Tiha Gudac is a director, screenwriter and producer from Zagreb. She graduated from the study of Production at the Academy of Dramatic Arts (MA) and Business Economics (BA) at the University of Zagreb. As a director and screenwriter, she primarily works on documentary film and TV projects. In her author’s work, in terms of international recognition and presence, feature-length documentaries stand out in particular. She made her debut as a director with the feature film «Goli» (Factum – Zagreb) 2014), which won a number of awards at international film festivals (jury, audience and human rights awards), and was marked by successful international TV, cinema, on-line and educational distribution that continues today. Her second feature-length documentary film «Žica» (Off World, Kinoteka URGH!, VRT-Canvas, Relation04 Media, RTV-SLO, Inscript, 2021) was created as part of a large international co-production and project «Borders» in which the first country of production is Belgium and the Croatian co-producer is Kinoteka from Zagreb. Among other festival awards, the film was awarded the FIPRESCI award of the International Film Critics Association (ZagrebDox, 2021), and in addition to the festival, its international TV and online distribution is also underway.

Sunčica Ana Veldić is a veterinarian and filmmaker from Zagreb. In 2006, she graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in 2014 she completed her master’s degree in small animal surgery. In 2019, she completed her MA in documentary film direction at ADU. She started working in film in 2013 after completing a scriptwriting, directing and editing course at the Zagreb Cinema Club. Since then, she has been shooting a series of documentary and experimental short films produced by the Zagreb Cinema Club, some of which are internationally noted, such as the film “Hux Flux, Son of Smokvin”, which she directed with Martin Semenčić, and the films “Festival Tourism” and “Croatian Virgin” were shown and awarded at domestic festivals. As part of her documentary film directing studies, she shot the films “White Trash” (2017) and “Overrated Dramaturgy” (2017), which were distributed at domestic and international festivals. “White Trash” was also shown in the competition program of the Tampere Film Festival. In 2020, the short documentary films “Catstream”, produced by Dinaridi, and “Osoba”, produced by Anahonda Film, were distributed and awarded with special awards. She is currently shooting the feature-length documentary “About cats and people” and the short documentary “My apartment”, both financed by HAVC.
