About film

“About the End of the World” tells the personal story of a Yugoslav family during half a century of European history, a period marked by upheavals, hope, destruction and new beginnings. My grandmother, fought as a partisan against fascism and for the revolution in the former Yugoslavia. My mother, rebelled against that revolution and saw her country disappear in flames. Her son, me, I’m making a film about them, about a country that no longer exists and about the hope that sustains us.
