Sara Jurinčić was born in 1989 in Zadar. She finished the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb, and since 2009 has been researching photography and film as mediums. She spent 2011 in Rotterdam where through work in the W.O.R.M. lab she encountered 16mm film. She began working on experimental films through a series of workshops, and video through a film workshop in Denmark (2017) and also Restart School of Documentary Film (2017/18). She started NOMAD STUDIO in 2018. She won multiple awards for her film ‘September 3, 2015’, which was made during the Restart’s School program.
