
Ivana Sansević
Ivana Sansević was born in 1981 in Zagreb, where she graduated from the Faculty of Political Science with a degree in journalism. She worked as a freelance journalist at Fade In and H-Alter. Since 2007, she has focused on public relations in culture and has since led the communications department for more than twenty domestic events, specializing in projects of cultural and artistic expression.
She worked in the Culture of Change program of the Student Center of the University of Zagreb and then at most domestic film festivals – Zagreb Film Festival, ZagrebDox, Motovun Film Festival, World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb, Human Rights Film Festival, Jewish Film Festival Zagreb, Fantastic Zagreb Film Festival, Short Film Festival in Novigrad, etc.
During 2015 and 2016, she worked as the Head of Communications for the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, from 2017 to 2020 she worked as the Communications Coordinator at the film distribution company 2i Film and collaborated with the Trešnja Theatre.
Today, she collaborates with several independent theatres and cultural and artistic collectives and with the Academy of Music in Zagreb, leads communication campaigns for domestic feature films and during 2023 and 2024 she collaborated with the Croatian Audiovisual Centre as a communications expert. During 2024 and 2025, she led the communications sector for the Zagreb Cultural Quarters project organized by the New Cultural Spaces institution and since 2024 she has been actively working as a communications expert for the Restart organization.
