Matija Santro

Matija Santro was born in 1987 in Zabok. He developed his first affinity for sound recording already in primary music school, after which he engaged in recording and sound processing as an amateur. After finishing high school in Zagreb, he began to deal with sound more seriously, and worked as a concert tone master, system engineer for larger public address systems and sound recordist for TV series, reality shows, commercials and films. In 2016, together with his colleagues Filip Filipi and Filip Ledinščak, he started Ontodei – a company for the rental of film and broadcasting sound equipment and sound recording services. For the past five years, they have together covered a large part of the field recordings in Croatia. He recorded numerous reality shows such as 321 kuhaj, Ljubav je na selu, Večera za 5 na selu, Mr. Perfect, Superpar, worked on numerous TV shows and documentaries for HRT, DW, ORF, RTL and Nova TV. He also filmed various TV series, including Black and White World, Ko te šiša, Vatre Ivanjske, Minus i plus, and many Croatian and international films such as Short Trip, Anka, Mare, Dom, Mayday, Kaymak, etc.
