
Tin Dožić
Tin Dožić completed his studies in psychology at Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb (2016) and the studies of new media at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (2016). In his practice, he starts from the medium of sound, and deals with field recording, radio, experimental music and multimedia installations. His work is based on media research by making his own electronic instruments, appropriating outdated technologies and recycling. His areas of interest are the materiality of the media, (dark) ecology, DIY culture, anthropocene and geology, the encounter of science and art, sleep and dreams. He has exhibited and performed on various platforms in Croatia and abroad, independently and in collaborative projects. Dožić’s work Songs for the Anthropocene won the Golden Watermelon Award at the Media Mediterranea Festival in 2018. He is a finalist of the Radoslav Putar Award 2019.
