The Restart co-production “Wind, Talk to Me”, directed by Stefan Đorđević, opens the door to a very special kind of intimacy — a return home, to memories that hurt and heal at the same time, and to moments in which nature speaks on our behalf. The film is the winner of the ‘Zlatna kolica’ award for Best Feature Film at the Zagreb Film Festival, and it will arrive in Croatian cinemas on November 20th.
Stefan reunites with his family to celebrate his grandmother’s birthday for the first time since his mother’s recent passing. This return home, driven by the need to finish a film about his mother and an attempt at redemption through rescuing a stray dog, sets off Stefan’s introspective journey. Inspired by the director’s real experiences, and featuring members of his own family in the main roles as they work to complete both the lakeside house and the film, “Wind, Talk to Me” is an intimate cinematic exploration of the timeless bond between mother and son.
