The documentary film “LULA”, the latest work by directors Oliver Stone and Rob Wilson, will begin its theatrical distribution in Croatia on March 18th. To mark the occasion, a special screening of the film will be held at Dokukino KIC, followed by a discussion with guests.

The film offers an intimate and layered portrait of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva through a series of exclusive interviews and rich archival material. In the film, Stone follows the life journey of one of the most recognizable political figures of our time, bringing a personal perspective and a look behind the public image.

“LULA” had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it attracted significant attention from both audiences and the media. Croatian audiences first saw the film at ZagrebDox in 2025.

The Zagreb screening at Dokukino KIC will mark the beginning of the film’s regular theatrical run in Croatia. Following the screening, a discussion will take place featuring Želimir Brala, former Croatian ambassador to Portugal and diplomat in Brazil, historian Tvrtko Jakovina and foreign policy analyst Mirjana Rakić. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Domagoj Novokmet.

The screening will take place on March 18 at 7 PM at Dokukino KIC, after which the film will begin showing in cinemas across Croatia.
