“Probably Dead” by Ivan Grgur, made as a graduating film at the Restart’s School of Documentary Film won its first awards and scored an international presence at various film festivals. At the 6th edition of the Student International Film Festival that happened in the Croatian city of Rijeka, the film received STIFF Audience Award and Special Jury Mention. Internationally, the film was premiered at the Alexandria Mediterraean Countries Film Festival in Egypt and shortly after that had its European premiere in the Panorama Shorts program at the Mediterranean Cinema Festival – CINEMED in Montpellier, France followed by Latin American one at the Brazilian Festival de Cinema de Alter do Chao. Another School film, ‘Escape Route’ by Lucija Ana Ilijić, had it’s International premiere in the competition of DokumentART festival in Neubrandenburg, Germany. Just to note, Rijeka’s STIFF competition has been, beside mentioned winner, enriched by two other films: ‘Happy Birthday, Mama!’ by Bernarda Cenkovčan (generation 2018/2019) and ‘The Place I’m Writting you Letters from’ by Nikolina Bogdanović (generation 2017/2018).
