The second leg of the EKRAN+ workshop started in Warsaw, Poland. EKRAN+ is a European program for development of professional films, focusing on creative preproduction and intended for the main creative personnel in the crew. One of the selected projects is the film “Fiume o morte!” by Igor Bezinović, who’s writing and directing it.
During the first session (4 – 7 March 2019), participants were analysing their written materials, treatments and script, mentored by Wojciech Marczewski, Udayan Prasad and Denijal Hasanović. Special guests of the workshop were directors and Oscar winners Agnieszka Holland i Paweł Pawlikowski. Second session was in April, when the teams tried to film the intended and planned scenes (11 – 18 April). The third session will be a reprise, but with a national crew, and it will be held 11-17 June. The wrap-up will be in December this year.
EKRAN+ is a European program organized by the famous Wajda Studio and Wajda School, with partners FOCAL (Switzerland), Austrian Film Institute, Lithuanian Film Center, Croatian Audiovisual Center and supported by Creative Europe/MEDIA program.
