"Gangster of Love" won two awards at the recently finished 5th UnderhillFest, the international documentary film festival held in Podgorica, Montenegro – the award for best regional documentary and audience award. Members of the jury which awarded "Gangster" were Rajko Petrović, documentarist and director of Free Zone film festival in Belgrade, Robert Tomić Zuber, documentarist and documentary program selector at Croatian national television HRT, and Mirko Matović, documentarist from Montenegro.
The jury explained their decision: "The film portrait of Nediljko Babić aka Gangster, in itself has assembled the ideal of many documentarians around the world – successful and easy communication with the audience, with subtle critique directed at breaking the stereotypes that prevail in the modern Croatian society.”
