Restart’s minority co-production, the documentary film “Non-Aligned: Scenes from the Labudović Reels” directed by Mila Turajlić, won the Golden Arena for the best Croatian minority co-production, according to a five-member jury chaired by actress Nives Ivanković, whose members also include writer and dramaturg Tena Štivičić, cinematographer Tamara Cesarec, producer Maja Popović Milojević and director Snježana Tribuson. Film critics also evaluated films during the festival, and according to their evaluations, the film “Non-Aligned: Scenes from the Labudović Reels” was the second-best film of the festival’s competition with an average rating of 4.14. This is how the jury explained its award: “This complex film, rich in materials about the personality and the historical period it deals with, illuminates the emergence of the Non-Aligned Movement in a new way and positions the importance of the film medium in creating the reputation and comprehensiveness of that movement. With an inventive research process in which she interweaves her own memories and emotional impressions from her childhood, the director rounds off and highlights her position on the importance of this great political idea.“
