On Saturday, 18th May 2013, Dokukino KIC (Preradovićeva 5) will host one of the most interesting and most audacious European filmmakers nowadays, the Danish investigative journalist and film director Mads Brügger, also known as ''the documentarist with steel balls'', who will present his latest film ''The Ambassador''. Saturday afternoon session (18th May) is starting at 5 PM with the master class (free entrance), continues with the free projection of ‘’The Red Chapel’’ at 7 PM, and finishes with the projection of ‘’The Ambassador’’ at 9 PM. The projection will be followed by a conversation with the author, which will be hosted by a journalist and publicist Velimir Grgić.
After filming ‘‘The Red Chapel'', during which he risked his life in North Korea, Brügger made ''The Ambassador'', in which he disclosed the diamond business of western European diplomats in The Central African Republic. After the first showcases of the film, CAR has requested from Denmark Brügger 's extradition . On the special masterclass presentation at 5 PM at Dokukino KIC, Mads will talk about the making of this incredible film in the interactive lecture titled ‘Ambassadors Selection – a Powerpoint Show’. The simple title hides much more – a dynamic and very humorous depiction of making of his films, as well as a sophisticated sense of irony with a big dose of incredible courage and crazy energy!
