Two more masterclasses organized by Restart are now online to be viewed for free – masterclass by Arash T. Riahi from December 2014 and masterclass by Martichka Bozhilova from January 2015.
Arash T. Riahi is an Austrian producer and director of Iranian origin, founder of production Golden Girls, and he came to Zagreb last December to promote his latest film "Everyday Rebellion" which represents today's non-violent civil disobedience movements and groups such as 15M, Occupy Wall Street, Femen etc, but also to hold his masterclass on the connection between film and cross-media platforms, in which he presented a successful online and mobile platform built around the film. Martichka Bozhilova, a Bulgarian producer from Agitprop production and one of the "100 most influential women in Bulgaria", was the first guest of Restart's masterclass program in 2015 and in January she presented her masterclass "Secrets of co-production – locally and globally in the world of documentary film" in which she gave advice on making your film projects internationally relevant and attractive to possible co-producers and on fulfilling the whole potential of your documentary project with a good script. Restart's masterclass program is committed to bringing internationally relevant documentarists to Croatia to present their work and share their knowledge with the local audience for free, and we started uploading the videos of the lectures for all to see for free in 2014.
