Restart is taking part in the implementation of the project “Through the school curriculum to contemporary content and methods in studio productions”. The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund, the scheme for grant “Modernisation of school curriculum in VET schools in line with the Croatian Qualifications Framework and market needs – Phase II “. Main partner is Electrotechnic school Varaždin and other partners are University of Applied Sciences VERN and School for Art, Design, Graphics and Clothes Zabok. The project started in May 2015 and lasts one year.

The specific objectives are:

·     to strengthen the technical and operational capacities of partner vocational schools required to create innovative school curriculum and methods of work in the field of modern production to meet the needs of employers and trends in the audiovisual industry

·     to ensure the acquisition of modern competencies for students attending four-year program “Media Technician” through the introduction of elective module “modern production” and flexible teaching materials that comply with the technological advances in the audiovisual industry

·     improve the practical training aimed at students in the part of the school curriculum related to the four-year program “Media Technician” through piloting elective module “modern production” and more advanced models of school television
