A feature documentary “The Investigator” by Czech director Viktor Portel will have its world premiere at the main Opus Bonum competition at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival (Jihlava, Czech Republic, 25.-30.10.2022). The first screening is scheduled on the 28th of October at DKO I cinema at 5PM, with the reprisal screening, the next day at 12AM. The film is also in the competition for the best Czech documentary, Czech Joy. “The Investigator” is produced by Czech Frame Films in co-production with Restart, Czech TV, Croatian Radiotelevision and Al Jazeera Balkans. It was filmed in Vukovar (Croatia), Beograd (Serbia), Sanski Most (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and New York in 2021. The main producer is Hana Blaha Šilarová, director of photography Šimon Dvořáček, editor Vladimir Gojun, sound designer Dominik Dolejši and sound recordists Filip Ledinšćak and Niko Gulam. In addition to the Czech crew, at the premiere, the film will be represented by the co-producer, Oliver Sertić and production manager, Suzana Erbežnik. As a part of the festival program Constellations, an audience will also be able to see our documentary “Museum of the Revolution” by Srđan Keča.
