Days of Madness, a film by director Damian Nenadić and a part of Restart production, has gotten the financial support from Creative Europe – MEDIA desk Croatia at the second call for applications for project developement in the creative documentary category. The film has been granted financial support in the amount of 25.000 euro.
MEDIA has explained it's decision to grant the support to Days of Madness:
"The topic of this intriguing project is well explained in the synopsis and extended treatment. The story has a potential which can cross borders, and the participation in several pitching forums resulted in an interest for the project. All the strategies were thought through in detail. Restart has the attention and commitment that are needed to realize the project, but also the experience of including potential partners in production. The topic and narrative structure are very interesting: they encompass personal stories of two protagonists whose goals and wishes interlock with the emotionality of the narrative line. Although the topic is hard and will not easily get a wider audience, and although this is the director's film debut, co-prodcution partners guarantee the success of the film."
