Our co-production “Non-aligned: Scenes from the Labudovic Reels” by Mila Turajlić (Poppy Pictures and Survivance in co-production with Restart and Montenegrian Kino) opened the 14th edition of Underhillfest, an international documentary film festival that is happening in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, from June 7th until June 15th, 2023. The festival will close the second part of Mila’s dyptich “Cine-Guerillas: Scenes from the Labudović Reels”. Both titles are screened in the Out of Competition program. Another Restart co-production, “The Investigator” by Viktor Portel (Czech Frame Films in co-production with Restart, Czech TV, HRT, and Al Jazeera Balkans), will be screened in the international competititon, and “Museum of the Revolution” by Srđan Keča (Restart and Uzrok in co-production with nutprodukce, HRT, and Al Jazeera Documentary Channel) in the regional competition. The short documentary “Radicle” by Dora Fodor, made at the last Restart’s School of Documentary Film, will have its world premiere in the competition ‘7 Shorts’ dedicated to regional documentaries.
